If you hunt from a stand or need the perfect truck gun, this is the rifle you want. It also works great for a walk around rifle in thick cover, or anywhere a longer rifle could be a little cumbersome. In order to keep the overall length down, we like a 20 to 22" barrel depending on caliber. We use a stock that is stable and easy to shoot in a sitting, prone or standing position. The stock will have a comb height designed to accommodate 42mm, 44mm, and 50mm scope objectives. Rifle weight will range from 7.25 to 8.5 pounds. Perfect calibers for this rifle include 223 Rem., 243 Win. 260 Rem., 7mm- 08 Rem., 308 Win., 338 Federal, 270 WSM, and 300 WSM.
