We created this rifle due to the success of the WSM family of cartridges. The stock is built exclusively for us by McMillan Fiberglass Stocks. .

We have designed the perfect stock for the short-action Model 70. The stock is incredibly sleek and trim, with a very open grip, shadow line cheek piece with serpentine reverse curve, and 18 lines per inch checkering with mull border. The stock will accommodate a #2, #3, or #4 contour barrel. Ted Blackburn steel bottom metal is optional on this rifle. We also re-machine the rear tang of the action to the Pre-War Model 70 style. This is the only composite stock made today that captures the true symmetry of the American Classic style.
