Finally, the perfect stock design for today's long range hunting market is here!  Precision stock works designed the stock by consulting with multiple industry experts, rifle builders, tactical shooters and hunters across the country.   The stock is manufactured by the best name in synthetic stocks; McMillan Fiberglass Stocks, Inc.  Hill Country Rilfe Co. is the first custom rifle builder to receive these new stocks.  

Most long-range hunting stocks have been older tactical designs that are dedicated to prone position shooting.  Other stocks don't give the grip shape or the comb height needed for the long range field shots hunters are taking today.  The availability of range finders and scope cross hair or turret systems has made longer range shots a reality.  What has been missing is a stock that will give you the comb height you need for larger scopes, the stabilty of a perfectly shaped grip with palm swell, in a stock shape that is comfortable from any shooting position, in a hunting weight stock.

The Rifleman stock delivers on all counts!  We like it so much that we have added a new product called the Long Range Hunter to our Custom rifle line.  We will also be using this stock on several of our Harvester rifles!  The stock is designed for right hand shooters only.  This is also an improvement since most other stocks are a compromised design between left and right hand shooters.  You won't believe how good this stock feels.  It is available for most Remington style actions, including the Stiller, Defiance, Bat Machine actions and will soon be available for a Winchester 70 action.
