13 Sep Ruger RPR 22’s with a Hill Country Rifle touch!
The resurgence in demand for accurate 22’s has been awesome. Our top end custom 22 LRs have been extremely well received. We realize that not everybody is ready for a $4000 custom 22.
While nothing quite compares to our full custom 22’s, the introduction of the Ruger RPR 22 long rifle immediately caught our attention. This rifle is inexpensive at less than $500 out of the box.
The barrel quality is quite good. The trigger is adjustable if you know how to tune it, and the stock is fully adjustable for length of pull, comb height, and even recoil pad position. So this rifle can be passed from young kid to full sized adult with a simple adjustment to the stock.
While a great value already, the RPR 22 bolt cycle can be a bit rough. The metal edges on the float tube and elsewhere are a bit sharp. And the factory trigger is way too heavy for our liking.
So, we came up with an Accuracy package specifically for this rifle. Paladin Coating, our in-house coating division, could not resist improving the look of these rifles with a variety of Cerakote finishes.
The HCR Accuracy package for the RPR 22 is as follows:
1.) Disassemble and deburr all surfaces
2.) Smooth bolt travel
3.) Recrown the muzzle with a piloted center drill on a lathe
4.) Tune the factory trigger to reduce pull weight
5.) Cerakote all metal in a two-tone finish and you get to pick the two colors. We also offer our Hill Country Camo patterns as well as custom theme finishes at additional cost.
The Cerakote finish on the rifle above was inspired by a certain Bounty Hunter from the movie Star Wars.
Are you ready for some great news?
The price for the Ruger RPR 22, with our Accuracy package and two-tone Cerakote finish is only $995.00!
Add a Nightforce SHV F1 4-14X50 scope with Nightforce rings and your entire package is still under $2500 and you are set up to smoke plates out to 300 yards!
The NF ATACR 4-16X42 and Kahles 3-18X50 also make great choices and we are happy to quote price on these as well.
